About me

  • BA Person-Centred Counselling (Middlesex University)
  • Diploma Person-Centred Counselling (Metanoia Institute)
  • Certificate in Counselling Skills (UEA)
I decided to train as a counsellor after working as a health professional for over 30 years. I realised I needed a new direction in my life, and, when I explored the possibilities open to me, decided that working with people who are struggling to make sense of their lives is what really interests me. I combined part time counselling training and work for some years, but have now retired from the NHS to concentrate fully on my counselling work.

My current roles include:

  • Private practice
  • Volunteer counsellor at TimeNorfolk (the pregnancy loss charity)

I worked as a volunteer counsellor at the Norwich Centre for 4 years.

I am a registered member of British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

I am fully committed to working within the BACP Ethical Framework.
